Inverness - Forest Fortress

Brazilian native Inverness has a free album available from his myspace. With the help of his friends he has smashed out some lovely tunes for us, a bit like lotus plaza, panda bear, real estate, these tunes are oozing with innocence. enjoy.

Grouper/Pumice Split 7"

So Living in Perth sucks for getting stuff posted from overseas but I've finally got my Grouper split seven inch with Pumice. I'm pretty sure this little release was put together to mark grouper's visit down under last month.

I'm a little sad that she couldn't make it over west but you get used to that sort of thing here. If you haven't heard this by now it features a new song by grouper "rising height" which has some new elements that i haven't heard from grouper before, especially the pitched voices building up into awesome wall of reverb.

This bit of wax also features pumice, a new zealand native who im not that famliar with but this song is mess of scattered guitar noise and percussion thats all held together with vocals.

Wavves - So Bored 7"

I've been hammering Wavves lately and all the hype surrounding this guys fuzz pop jams is totally justified. here we have the killer "So Bored" and a nice acoustic based song titled "How are you?" do yourself a favor and get it...here.

these guys are set for big things in the uk after moving to london from perth late last year.
